BBC Children in Need has awarded £6,100 in new funding, as part of Curiosity – a brand new partnership with Wellcome that is providing opportunities for children and young people experiencing disadvantage, to take part in science activities that are meaningful and fun!

Crealy Adventure Park & Resort has raised £10,000 for the WESC Foundation, a specialist day and residential centre for young people and adults with visual impairment including complex needs in Exeter, Devon.

The year-long fundraising campaign, Wheels 4 WESC, aimed to raise funds towards a new minibus which thanks to the success of the partnership has now been purchased. England blind footballers challenge local businesses

WESC Foundation (WESC) in partnership with Listen2Win hosted a Visual Impairment Challenge at WESC’s 14-acre campus in Exeter.

WESC Foundation presented with new minibus

On Friday 24th June WESC Foundation, Exeter’s specialist day and residential centre for young people and adults with visual impairment, was presented with a new minibus and marks the 40th year that the Lord’s Taverners have been helping charities.

WESC Foundation (WESC) played host to Exeter Chamber of Commerce’s June networking lunch, with 70 local businesses and professionals in attendance.

WESC Foundation (WESC) launches The ‘Exeter’s Blind Spot’ campaign.

Since the charity’s rebrand many people know WESC as the blind school and not by their official name, WESC Foundation. This campaign is aiming to increase awareness and strengthen the association between WESC and the ‘blind school’ that it is so often referred as.

WESC Foundation is seeking the support of greeting card consumers in the South West in the run up to Christmas as part of a new fundraising initiative.

The centre for visual impairment has partnered with Exeter-based DontSendMeACard.com to offer a range of e-cards that support WESC. The website offers users the ability to send e-cards in replacement of greeting cards and to donate how much they would have spent on sending cards.
