The Chagford and District Business Association announced the launch of its new destination website, ‘Visit Chagford’.

Journalists to enjoy Devon heaven

A Visit Devon led tour of the county sets off next week - 16 September to 18 September - bringing five national journalists to the region who will visit a selection of Arts & Crafts businesses.

The three day trip will begin in Kenton near Exeter, with a visit to Powderham Castle where the group will have lunch with Lady Devon before visiting the Powderham blacksmith.

They'll then head to Bovey Tracey to meet local llamas at Spin A Yarn, specialists in locally produced organic wool and fleece, before heading to the English Riviera and a tour of the new Abbey Sands...

A new wreck diving site, the reopening of the Stover Canal towpath for the first time in 80 years, plans for Teignmouth’s New Fish Quay and public landing facilities and scientific modelling of sandbanks off Teignmouth are just a few topics of discussion at this year's Teign Estuary Partnership Annual Forum.
