Dates announced for Devon County Show 2022

The Devon County Agricultural Association is delighted to announce that the 2022 Devon County Show will take place on Thursday 30th June, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd July.

The event traditionally runs during the third week of May, but along with other shows was cancelled in 2020.

In 2021, the Show was delayed to July and was one of the few three-day agricultural shows to go ahead.

As a Covid Safe outdoor event, the organisers were delighted at the confidence of the general public and welcomed over 60,000 visitors across the three days.

Lee Ridley (aka Lost Voice Guy) will be bringing his new show to The Corn Exchange, Exeter on 2nd May as part of his new UK Tour.

Following the success of his sell out debut tour in 2019 – during which he performed at over 100 UK venues – Lee Ridley (aka Lost Voice Guy) is heading back out on the road in 2021 to put a smile on the faces of people up and down the country once again.

The Devon County Agricultural Association is delighted to welcome Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Devon, David Fursdon, as President of the 2020 Devon County Show.

David has been a member of the DCAA for some forty years and was elected at the Show’s AGM which took place at the end of January. He takes up the reins from Sir Harry Studholme Bt who was Show President in 2019.

Exeter Mum to become Pickled Person for a day

You don't have to be a bottle blond to join the outrageous Circus of Horrors but you may be asked to fit in a bottle.

The Circus of Horrors were looking for a new Pickled Person to join their show for their performances in Exeter Corn Exchange on the 22nd June.

All applicants thinking of auditioning will have to fit into a bottle measuring only 2' tall & 18'' in diameter, they must not suffer from claustrophobia and be able to squeeze into tight spaces.
