Life Education Wessex launches SCARF aimed at improving children’s health, wellbeing and achievement

Coram Life Education (CLE), the largest provider of wellbeing and drug education in schools, has developed a new range of education support tools to help schools meet Ofsted requirements for safety, personal development, behaviour and welfare. Devon and Spain lead innovative Erasmus+ project with Latvia and Italy

Offwell Primary from Honiton, Redhills Primary in Exeter and the ACE MAT have been successful in gaining Erasmus+ funding to take part in an Erasmus + project which will be coordinated by the English teacher, Enrique Ruiz from CEIP Andrés García Soler in Spain.

This project, therefore, includes these two Primary schools from Devon, the MAT, the Spanish school, Scuola Padre Pio from Altamura, Italy and Rigas Classical Gymnasium from Latvia as well as Antonio de Nebrija University from Madrid.

Following the success of its explosive Science Cabaret production “Dark Matters”, the science focused theatre company Foot-candle Productions - supported by Daisi[1] and Queen Elizabeth’s (QE) Academy - is putting the spotlight on one of science’s unsung feminine heroes, the ground breaking Austrian atomic Physicist Lise Meitner, whose work changed the world.

RGB's Community Fund is back

RGB Building Supplies has reopened its Well Built Community Fund and is now asking for schools that support those with additional needs to get in contact and explain how a donation of £1,000 worth of building materials will help complete a project.

Whether a school would like to create a new outdoor space, complete essential repairs or give their building a spruce up with a lick of paint, RGB would like to hear from them.

The East Devon Countryside Team Education Rangers are about to start a busy summer spent outdoors.

Over the summer term the rangers will be running more than 50 visits to East Devon District Council's nature reserves, beaches and other sites across the area, and over 30 of these visits are to EDDC’s Seaton Wetlands site.
