Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park mark the countdown to Christmas with a special visit from Santa, Rudolph and his helpers this December for festive fun.

Guests are invited to join Santa in his grotto for Santa’s Interactive Story Time and hear magical tales of his festive adventures. Younger guests will also receive a free gift from Santa to take home at the end of their visit.

Santa’s Storytime with Rudolph and his helpers will take place at on 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th December and 19th - 23rd December from 10.30am, so there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy a spectacular...

Axhayes launches Santa Paws Appeal

Saturday 12th December 2015 sees the launch of this years Exeter Axhayes adoption centre annual Santa Paws Appeal.

The launch coincides at their ever popular Coffee morning. The coffee morning starts at 11am and goes on until 2pm and is being held at Axhayes adoption centre, Sidmouth Road, Exeter. opposite the Exeter AFC training ground.Come along, meet the many cats and kittens, chat to the staff and volunteers and have a cuppa and a cake.

A festive motorbike cavalcade with a special difference will take place just a couple of weeks before Christmas this year – and YOU could be part of it.

The riders will be delivering Christmas toys to youngsters with life-limiting illnesses at the South West Children’s Hospice.

So why not arm yourself with a Santa suit, decorate your motorbike with some tinsel or antlers and join the Exeter Based Motorbike Rides group for a ride to remember?

WiFi SPARK provides a hotline to Santa

Children at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales in Cardiff have been given a wonderful Christmas surprise - a personal chat with Santa over WiFi.

The youngsters, who are facing Christmas in hospital, were given the VIP treatment using tablet computers and the hospital’s free WiFi which is run by WiFi SPARK.

Along with the hospital’s IT team, Oliver Malkin and Tracy Scriven from WiFi SPARK, which is based in Exeter, dressed up as elves to get the special *Cisco Santa mission underway.

YMCA Exeter's Santa abseil breaks record

YMCA Exeter’s 5th Annual Santa Abseil took place on Saturday 6th December with almost 60 local people, young and old, abseiling off the Princesshay car park to help combat youth homelessness.

Fifty-seven people put on their Santa suits, an increase of over 20 participants from last year, and overcame the dizzy heights to step over the roof’s edge and raise over £4,000 to support those without safe accommodation, with the figure still rising.

Staff at Otter Nurseries were delighted to learn that readers of Primary Times have voted the garden centre’s grotto as the best place to celebrate Christmas with Santa in Devon.
