Thousands stolen in Pinhoe bank raid

Police are investigating a Burglary which took place at Lloyds TSB bank at Pinhoe, Exeter over the weekend between Sunday evening and the early hours of Monday morning.

Officers were called by staff at 11.45am on Monday, 26th May and attended Lloyds Bank, Main Road.

Thieve(s) had entered the bank through the roof and stole a large quantity of cash, believed to be in the tens of thousands, from the cashpoint.

Officers are currently carrying out enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone with information.

Police investigate after knifepoint robbery in Tiverton

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Tiverton yesterday (7th May). Just before 1.00pm at the entrance to People’s Park, the offender threatened an 18-year-old victim with a knife before stealing money and a mobile phone. The suspect is also believed to have approached another man in the walk way between Morrison’s supermarket and Market Carpets shortly before this incident but nothing was stolen. Police are keen to trace 5 school children who may have witnessed this incident.

CCTV of Paignton armed robbery released

Detectives investigating the armed robbery at a Paignton jewellers have released CCTV of men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. One man, 21-year-old Zico Rawlinson of Barton, Torquay, was last week charged with robbery and possession of an offensive and appeared before magistrates. Now investigating officers are releasing CCTV film taken at the store in a bid to identify two other suspects. In the CCTV the men are seen to enter the store wearing hoody-style tops over white painter-and-decorator style disposable overalls.

Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with a armed robbery at jewellers shop in Paignton.

The 21-year-old from Torquay, named Zico Rawlinson was arrested on suspicion of robbery and later charged with robbery.

The robbery on Tuesday 22 April saw three people enter the House of Diamonds on Torquay Road, dressed in hooded tops and overalls.

They were allegedly armed with a baseball bat and a knife.

Witnesses managed to detain one of the offenders whilst another two made off and got into a waiting car.

Police investigating an armed robbery at a jewellers’ shop in Paignton are appealing for information. At around 4.45pm on Tuesday 22 April, three people entered the House of Diamonds, Torquay Road, dressed in hooded tops and overalls. They were allegedly armed with a baseball bat and a knife. Officers investigating a robbery in Honiton have released CCTV footage of a man they are urgently trying to trace. This distressing footage shows the moment the man entered the antique shop at around 9am on Saturday 22 March and grabbed the female staff member from behind. Man charged after Exeter Bank Raid

A 39-year-old man has been charged with robbery following a bank robbery in Exeter city centre on Monday 24 March. Justin Bracken Lee, will appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court today, Friday, 28 March 2014.

Police are investigating the bank robbery which took place at around 1.10pm on Monday at the Natwest in Exeter City Centre.

Mr Bracken Lee is alleged to have told the cashier he was armed and demanded cash.

The male cashier was unharmed but shaken by the ordeal.

Officers investigating a robbery in Honiton have released further images of a man they are urgently trying to trace. A team of dedicated officers are now involved in the investigation following the robbery which took place at Banwell Antiques, in Honiton over the weekend. The incident took place as a female staff member, who was working alone, opened up the store at around 9am. The woman was grabbed from behind by the suspect before being tied up. Police appeal for witnesses of robbery in Honiton high street

Banwell Antiques Ltd suffered a robbery today in which a large quantity of jewellery was stolen.

The offence took place at 9 am today (22nd March 2014). A female shop worker was attacked by a lone male suspect as she opened the store to start work.

£2,000 Reward for Devon Robbery Suspect

A reward of up to £2,000 is being offered through independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers, for information on a robbery that occurred in Dawlish Warren last summer. Dean Smart, aged 27, is wanted in connection with the robbery which took place at Golden Sands Holiday Park in the early hours of 27 August 2013. Smart, who is from the Bath area, is considered dangerous, and police believe he is actively evading capture.
