Police Appeal after robbery in Axminster

Police are appealing for witnesses after a Co-op in Axminster was subject to robbery at around 9pm last night ( Saturday 21st December).

The Offender is described as being dressed in a grey hooded top and dark tracksuit trousers and may have been carrying a bottle of Vodka.

This male has committed the robbery holding a knife.

Cigarettes and a bottle of Vodka have been stolen.

Police are appealing to anyone in the area of South Street Axminster particularly between nine o’clock and half past nine in the evening that may have seen this male or anything...

Update 24 October: Police confirmed today that they are no longer searching for the individuals in the photo as the suspects have been identified.

22 October: Police need help in identifying a man and woman following a theft from a supermarket in Newton Abbot.

On 6 October 2013 shortly before 3.30pm a customer requested £50 cash back from one of the self service checkouts at the Asda store in Highweek Street.

The customer picked up his shopping and walked away forgetting the cash. When he returned shortly afterwards the cash had been taken.

Police are investigating a robbery at the Golden Sands Holiday complex in Dawlish, which occurred in the early hours of Monday 27 August. The offenders, believed to be three or four in total and wearing balaclavas, forced members of staff to open a safe containing a large quantity of cash.

One member of staff was assaulted and sustained a fractured jaw. Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at an Exeter shop. A man ran into the store on Manston Road brandishing a baseball bat and threatened the female member of staff, repeatedly demanding cash. The victim, a woman in her 30s, feared for her safety and handed over £200 cash. The offender, who had his face covered, continued his threats as he left the store, running off up Jubilee Road towards St Annes Road. Police in Honiton are appealing for information following an attempted robbery. The incident occurred at around 7.55pm on Tuesday 5 March in New Street Honiton. The victim, a woman aged 40 years was approached by a man who assaulted her by grabbing her right shoulder and spun her around to face him. He then grabbed her bag and punched her in the face. 83-year-old lady mugged and pushed to the floor

Police in Exeter are appealing for information after an 83-year-old lady was mugged after she had just got off a bus and was walking to her home.

The incident occurred between 9.30am and 10.00am this morning, Wednesday 16th January, in Willey’s Avenue, off Alphington Road, Exeter.

The victim was approached as she was walking home, pushed to the floor and had her handbag and contents stolen.

Detectives are investigating a robbery that took place on Sunday (25th November) at a bookmakers in Dawlish. The crime was committed between 9.15 and 9.20pm, when a man walked into the shop on The Strand and threatened a member of staff before making off with a substantial amount of money.
