The retiring musical director of Exeter Cathedral, Andrew Millington, has called for more investment in children’s musical education, saying it can transform lives.

In an event organised by Exeter musician Luke Bliss-Thompson and his band Swarm, Exeter’s finest musicians have teamed up with Exeter Phoenix to put on a charity concert raising money for the victims of the Nepal earthquake.

Artigiano in Exeter is holding a Music and Craft Beer festival from Thursday 21st May –Sunday 24th May. The Artigiano Acoustic sessions kick the weekend off on Thursday with Richard James.
