Skin Angels launch song to support teen cancer charity

Exeter’s Skin Angels by Purity Boutique Spa have launched a song aimed at inspiring young people to look after their skin, including protecting it from potential sun damage. The song, called ‘Porcelain’ has been written by Skin Angel’s ambassador, Devon singer / songwriter Clara Bond.

Clara comments: “I really believe you don’t need a tan to be beautiful. The Sixteen and Harry Christophers take a trip back to 16th-century Spain and more specifically to one of the biggest, richest and most cosmopolitan cities on earth - Seville. It was during this Spanish ‘golden age’ when arts and culture flourished, that Francisco Guerrero and Alonso Lobo made their mark. Between them these two composers capture an astonishing variety of moods within their music, from ecstasy and joy to despair, longing and devotional stillness.

Young Okehampton Band 'Downfall' need your votes!

Young up-and-coming rock band Downfall from Okehampton are needing your votes as part of a nationwide competition 'Brand New Artist'. They take influence from Stone Sour, Black Stone Cherry and Black Label Society.

Along with 99 other acts, they are competing to win prizes to the value of 100k.

The band consist of 25 year old Karl Little on lead guitar and vocals, 18 year old Jake Hodgson on guitar, 15 year old Nathan Bostock on bass and 15 year old Mack Hodgson on drums. They have been together since spring 2013 and have been gigging since May of that year.
