Exmouth Leisure Centre opens new gym

LED are excited to be opening the doors to its simply spectacular new gym at Exmouth Leisure Centre on today (Monday 18 May 2015). Perfectly timed to help you feel great this summer!

Newton Abbot swimming pool reopens

The swimming pool at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre is reopening tomorrow (5 February), Teignbridge District Council has announced.

The leisure centre is offering a ‘Free Swim Sunday’ as a thank you to everyone for their support and patience during the closure period. Anyone wanting to enjoy a dip is being encouraged to visit.

Free Swim Sunday will be between 8.30am – 2pm on Sunday 8 February. Anyone visiting can use the pool for free.

Fitness staff to be a 'group challenge hero' for Children in Need

Crediton Fitness staff are to undertake a staff vs customer Pad Boxing Circuit Challenge to support disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.

Lords Meadow Leisure Centre will be raising money for BBC Children in Need by becoming a group challenge hero to support the 2014 appeal. Fitness staff will be inviting customers to help raise money to support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Have you seen the Queen’s Jubilee Sculpture on the side of Honiton Leisure Centre?

The sculpture was designed by six-year-old Alfie Gibbins from Fenny Bridges near Honiton.

Last year, East Devon District Council's Chairman, Councillor Peter Halse, asked young people to draw their ideas for a sculpture to celebrate young people for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Hundreds of enthusiastic children and young people who live in East Devon entered the competition in the hope of getting their drawing made into a real-life sculpture and installed in their local park.

Arsenal Soccer School Christmas Course in Exeter

Arsenal Soccer Schools will be running a Christmas Soccer School at the Riverside Leisure Centre in Exeter during the Christmas school holidays which will include a free swim.

All children will enjoy festive football games to improve their skills, receive an Arsenal Soccer Schools gift and a Christmas treat from the Arsenal Soccer Schools team.

The soccer schools takes place on Monday 31st December, 10am-3pm for 7-14 year olds of all abilities and 1.30pm-3pm for 3-6 year olds of all abilities.
