The Heart of the South West Growth Hub is partnering with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) to host two free events to support hospitality, retail and leisure businesses in Devon.

Recent feedback from FSB has indicated that hospitality, retail and leisure businesses are facing challenges around the recruitment and retention of staff, accessing finance, and procurement.

Multi award-winning holiday park Cofton Holidays has invested £200,000 in 48 new super pitches to cope with record demand for staycations from caravaners and owners of recreational vehicles (RVs).

Brand new Exmouth foodie destination, Mickeys Beach Bar & Restaurant, will be open 5 days rather than 7 at the start of July temporarily to maintain the highest standards of operation within the restaurant, whilst ensuring staff are well looked after. As the hospitality and tourism sectors gear up to fully re-open later this month a Devon college is hoping to change the perception of jobs in the sector.
