Gilbert Stephens Solicitors are very proud to announce that the firm received recognition at the Devon and Somerset Law Society Legal Awards 2019.

Gilbert Stephens were finalists last night in two categories, winning the Corporate Social Responsibility award and being presented with a ‘Highly Commended’ Law Firm of the Year (11+ Partners) award.

Make a Will Fortnight for FORCE

FORCE Cancer Charity has teamed up with local solicitors to launch its first Make A Will Fortnight campaign.

For two weeks in September Ford Simey, Gilbert Stephens, Kitsons and Tozers – solicitors based in offices across Exeter, East and Mid Devon – will waive their simple will-making fee in return for a donation to FORCE.

On Thursday 24th September, members of the Gilbert Stephens’ Young Professionals Network gathered at Exeter’s newest restaurant and cool cocktail bar, Circa 1924, for the chance to catch up with some familiar faces as well as welcome new ones for a long lunch.

Gilbert Stephens LLP, has expanded its conveyancing team following the recruitment of Alison Parker, a qualified conveyancer with 25 years industry experience. Our multi-role practice with five offices in Devon, welcomes Alison to its Exeter office in Southernhay.

Originally from the Midlands, Alison started her career as a trainee at Clarke Wilmot in Bristol, following the completion of her law degree. Since then she has worked at a number of firms in the South West, covering commercial and residential property law.

For the third year, Devon based Solicitors, Gilbert Stephens, is entering a team for the Nello, as well as sponsoring the event and supplying a band of volunteers to help on the day. On June 28th teams of cyclists will head off on the Nello 57 or 100 mile bike ride across the county, to raise much needed funds for FORCE cancer charity.

On Wednesday 11th February, Gilbert Stephens LLP is hosting another Great Devon Breakfast in aid of local cancer charity, FORCE.

This popular event, which forms part of a county-wide fundraising campaign, will be held at the City Gate Hotel on the corner of St David’s Hill and Bartholomew Street East and starts at 8am.
