There’ll be fun for all the family at this free Exeter event in the grounds of the beautiful St Katherine’s Priory in Exeter.

It promises to be a perfect family day out with activities for all ages, including a bouncy castle, kid’s football, family games, artisan stalls and a live band. And entry is free!

Hot and cold refreshments will be available, and there’ll be a prize raffle with some fantastic prizes donated by Exeter's local business community.

Award-winning ultra-fast broadband provider, Jurassic Fibre , has today announced that they have pledged their support once again to Hospiscare this Christmas.

The Exeter-based telecoms company, who are on a mission to deliver their full fibre-to-the premises broadband to 500,000 homes and businesses in the South West, will be supporting Hospiscare’s Christmas Tree Recycling fundraiser, for the second year in a row, with a team of volunteers.

Following the cancellation of Devon Air Ambulance’s (DAA) annual Motorcycle Ride Out, which sees in the region of 1000 bikers rally together every July to support their Air Ambulance, DAA took the opportunity to launch its first ever Virtual Bike Show fundraiser, supported by Bridge Motorcycles.

Charity music auction featuring signed memorabilia from famous names to raise vital funds for the Deaf Academy

Devon’s Deaf Academy is holding a charity auction this November, with members of the public able to bid on some unique musical lots in order to raise funds for the Academy’s move to Exmouth next year.

The online auction has been organised by Rachel Goswell, guitarist and vocalist from 90s shoegaze band Slowdive, whose 9-year-old son Jesse attends the Academy.

Items up for auction include signed guitars from Slowdive and Mogwai, along with screen prints, posters, drum heads, set lists and assorted memorabilia from the likes of The Cure, Ash, Editors, The Cult, Cocteau Twins...

Fancy dress raises £1,245 for Devon Air Ambulance

After a vote from all of the staff at Bishop Fleming's Exeter office to decide on the Partners attire for the fancy dress Christmas party, the winner was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with the proviso that Partner and Head of Tax, Andrew Browne became Snow White for the evening.

Andrew took a bit of convincing and therefore as an incentive to become Snow White for one night only, decided to use the opportunity to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance.

A total of £1,245 was raised for the charity showing that not all Christmas parties need to be completely self-indulgent....
