Jewellery stolen in Exmouth burglary

Police are appealing to the public after a burglary in Springfield Road, Exmouth.

The incident took place between 17th and 23rd October and several Items of jewellery were stolen along with a mini Acer Laptop.

Missing jewellery includes:

As a massive fan of the 1987 classic film Dirty Dancing, featuring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, I was thrilled to be asked to attend A Night of Dirty Dancing – The Ultimate Tribute Show, at the Exmouth Pavilion on Friday 6th October.

Designs published for public consultation on new Water Sports Centre for Exmouth

Exeter-based sustainable property developer, Grenadier, has published its designs for a new water sports facility for Exmouth, and is encouraging members of the community to participate in public consultation on the plans.

The proposed not-for-profit scheme, which would provide training and changing facilities alongside an outdoor events space and eateries, is intended to enhance Exmouth’s waterfront, water sports heritage and leisure amenities. Appeal for witnesses to high value burglary in Exmouth

Officers in Exmouth are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a property on Cranford Avenue in Exmouth which happened between 4.30pm and 8pm on Friday 8 September 2017.

An offender gained access to the property through a ground floor bedroom window and stole a large amount of cash and jewellery.

Sterling adding up to £10,000 and $8,000 Hong Kong dollars was taken along with two Gucci wrist watches, a Rolex wrist watch, a Passport, gold and silver rings, a gold bracelet, a silver necklace, and a Jade hoop-shaped pendent.

Hospiscare@Home, the new service bringing the expertise of the hospice into the home for residents in and around Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth, Lympstone and Woodbury, has received touching feedback about one of the first patients to use the service.

An Exmouth man who overcame autism and dyslexia to pass three maths exams which helped turn his life around, has been recognised by Learn Devon, Devon County Council’s Adult Education Service.

EDDC signs agreement with developers for new watersports centre in Exmouth

An important milestone has been reached with the signing of a Development Agreement between East Devon District Council and sustainable property company, Grenadier Estates, which will see the creation of a locally focused watersports centre on Exmouth seafront.

Forming an integral part of the council’s plans to regenerate the seafront area, the new centre will be built on a former car park on Queen’s Drive. This will further confirm Exmouth’s place as a leading UK watersports destination.
