New Cathedral exhibition for Lent

Exeter Cathedral has taken delivery of a set of Stations for the Cross which will remain in place as an exhibition for tourists and pilgrims until the end of March.

The panels use mixed media (including charcoal, metal leaf, ink and pastel) and are the work of multi-diciplinary artist Caroline Waterlow, herself based in the West Country. Where the traditional Stations emphasise the suffering path of Jesus, this installation follows the gospel accounts of Christ's Passion.
