Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter admitted he took a "great deal of pride" from his side's showing as they completed a league double over reigning Aviva Premiership champions Harlequins. With the Hospiscare Men’s Walk only a couple of weeks away, the charity has announced that registration opened on Thursday 28 February for the Ladies’ Starlight Walk.

The event, which is taking place on Saturday 11 May in Exmouth, has a new name, new route and new start time but the same feeling of togetherness, as ladies raise money for the charity which provides end of life care for patients in Exeter, mid and East Devon.

Hello, I am writing this on my 100th day in office. If I’m honest, it feels more like 100 minutes because we’ve packed so much in to these first three months, and at times there’s hardly been time to catch my breath.

Man in critical condition after collision at Westpoint last night

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in Exeter which left a man in a critical condition. The 49-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after falling from a moving vehicle, possibly a taxi, at Westpoint last night (28 February). The incident happened around 10.25pm when a man got into what is thought to be a taxi, described as a black medium-sized people carrier with a sliding side door, possibly a Mercedes Vito. RAMM receives donation of a scientifically valuable insect collection

Devon charity, the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust, has donated a large collection of butterflies, moths and other insects to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery in Exeter.

The Conservation Trust oversees Paignton Zoo, Slapton Ley, Living Coasts and Newquay Zoo and the specimens were collected by Dr David Stradling, the former Chairman, who passed away in July 2012 after a long illness. His collection was started in the 1950s and includes specimens from the UK, Switzerland, Trinidad, Argentina and Botswana.
