Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is set to launch a unique service to local patients who require common surgical procedures.
For the first time, patients choosing to have their care outside of the NHS will have no time limits placed on their aftercare following procedures like hip replacements or hernia repair.

Newtown Community Association is gearing up for an Art Café, which will take place this Sunday, 9 June at the main hut in Belmont Park from 2pm-4pm.
As well as a painting activity with Exeter Scrapstore, there will be live music mostly from young string player 'The J Strings' – which is the St James School string group – Exeter Young Strings, and also a young string band will be doing a few tunes.

What led you to volunteer for WESC Foundation?
I had been toying with the idea of volunteering for about four years before I took action to make it happen.
I was talking to a friend about her son who has attended WESC Foundation for the past ten years and met him on a sponsored walk and had such a lovely time in his company that I decided to enquire whether I could use some of my spare time and skills to help at WESC.
