Exeter Corn Exchange is to host another of its very successful Bhangra Extravaganzas on Friday 8 November, this time with the added bonus of a slice of Bollywood as the Bollywood Brass Band feature in a celebration of 100 years of Bollywood cinema.

Art activity family drop-in

THG are running a family drop-in art activity making paper lace jewellery from 11am to 4pm.

This fun half-term activity will involve making brooches, fascinators and bangles from a combination of real and paper-cut lace.

Suggested donation is £2 per child.

The event is suitable for children six years old and upwards.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, as this workshop involves using sharp scissors.

Residents of Pinhoe are being invited to have their say on the proposed Home Farm development at Pinhoe Primary School tonight. Police events in Exeter to crackdown on cycle theft

Cyclists have the chance to find out more about bike security at two police events in Exeter. Local officers are holding two bike marking events to encourage cyclists to mark, register and lock their bikes. They take place at:

  • Exeter Flowerpots Skatepark on Saturday 19 October 2013 between 2pm and 4pm.
  • Waitrose car park, Gladstone Road, Exeter on Thursday 24 October 2013 between 3pm and 5pm.
