Calling all glamorous people in the Exeter area!

Do you have piles of clothes that you no longer wear? Do you wish you had a whole new wardrobe but can't afford a shopping spree? Then this is the event for you!! Join us at County Hall's clothes swapping event and swap 'til you drop!

How it works:

Drop off your clothes, shoes and accessories in advance of the event (either by prior arrangement or by turning up to the event 30 mins or so early). For each item you bring you will receive one ticket. At 5pm on the day you can begin swapping your tickets for new items....

Tiverton Museum among the finalists for Small Visitor Attraction at the Devon Tourism Awards 2013

Tiverton Museum is delighted to be the only museum to become a finalist in the Small Visitor Attraction category at the Devon Tourism Awards. Reaching this stage means that the museum will win either Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended awards.

Warm welcome for RAF Brize Norton despite the drizzle

All eyes were turned to the skies in Exeter this lunchtime (Monday 21 October) when a four-engined Hercules Transporter aircraft made a low level fly past over Exeter to mark the start of the Freedom of the City ceremony for RAF Brize Norton. Despite the poor visibility, meaning that it was only visible for moments before disappearing into low cloud, and the constant drizzle of rain, the fly past was warmly cheered by a slightly damp but enthusiastic crowd.

Art activity family drop-in

THG are running a family drop-in art activity making paper lace jewellery from 11am to 4pm.

This fun half-term activity will involve making brooches, fascinators and bangles from a combination of real and paper-cut lace.

Suggested donation is £2 per child.

The event is suitable for children six years old and upwards.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, as this workshop involves using sharp scissors.

Residents of Pinhoe are being invited to have their say on the proposed Home Farm development at Pinhoe Primary School tonight.
