Devon County Council is continuing to open up more information about the council, its contracts and finances in a concept known as Open Data.
As part of the Council's commitment to accountability and transparency, there is a range of information available about how the council operates, its staff and what it spends.
Some examples of this are; details of all transactions that the council makes over £500, senior employee salaries, councillor allowances and expenses, contracts and tenders and grants to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
Pinhoe Guides are holding a Christmas shopping evening on Friday 21 November.
Twenty tables will be selling various items including jewellery, craft items, Christmas decorations and cards for sale along with mulled wine, nibbles and mince pies.
There will be a raffle towards the end of the evening. All the stallholders have donated a prize, and we have a couple of other competitions during the evening.
All the money raised will go towards the Pinhoe Guides' trip to Switzerland in August 2015.

Recorded crime in Devon and Cornwall has fallen by almost 4% over the last year according to statistics published today (16 October). Overall crime for the 12 months to September 2014 fell by 3.9%, a drop of 3,336 crimes, compared to the same period in 2012/13. Victim-based crime, a key performance measure for the Police and Crime Commissioner, is down by 5.3% or 3,297 offences. Members of the public in Exeter are still not wearing SPF on a daily basis, despite potential health risks, a recent survey reveals*.
The Skin Angels, Exeter’s campaigning beauty therapists from Purity Boutique Spa, recently asked members of the public who were shopping in Princesshay if they were wearing SPF and only 26% of people asked said they were. This means that 74% were unprotected from damaging UVA and UVB sun rays.
