As the X Factor and Strictly has come to an end, the people of Devon and Cornwall have been given a new way to have a voice and place their vote, as a campaign kicks off today supporting local talent, which will be recognized on an international platform.
The talent being searched for is those who don’t make a song and dance about things, but who tirelessly work to achieve their professional and financial goals, often overcoming adversity to support their families and work towards their dreams.

The preferred route is a direct result of feedback from Lympstone and Exmouth residents and key stakeholders including East Devon District Council, Natural England and the National Trust.
The A376 and the B3179 Woodbury Road are both used extensively by commuters into Exeter.

Devon County Council is expecting to complete repairs to a section of the sea wall at Lympstone early this week.
The authority responded after high tides and rough seas over the festive break took their toll on the length of the old masonry wall on Sowden Lane, creating a hole the size of a small car.
The damage to the wall, which supports the highway, was reported to the County Council on 1st January and was assessed the same day by the on-call bridge inspector.
The area was fenced off and the site made safe and repairs got underway earlier this week.
