Devon and Cornwall Police is promoting a new campaign around sexual consent, which aims to educate and inform young people around what can sometimes be a confusing issue.

Young people may feel pressured into having sex when they don’t want to or aren’t ready to as a result of peer pressure, fear, lack of knowledge or the consumption of alcohol and/or drugs which clouds their judgement.

Equally, young people, sometimes inexperienced...

Via Crucis is a touring exhibition of 14 images. The panels use mixed media (including charcoal, metal leaf, ink and pastel) and are the work of multi-diciplinary artist Caroline Waterlow, herself based in the West Country. Where the traditional Stations emphasise the suffering path of Jesus, this installation follows the gospel accounts of Christ's Passion.

In what has become a tradition, Year 12 girls in North Close House at the school organise an initiative where, for a small fee, pupils write a message on labels which the girls then tie onto the roses.

They then deliver the blooms to the lucky recipients, thus guaranteeing the anonymity of the givers. DATT is the North Close girls' charity for the year and they will be raising more funds at other events.
