Crowdfunding success for Exeter Pound

Exeter Pound have succeeded their target and more by successfully raised over £6800 through an exciting Crowdfunder campaign.

With the funds raised they will have the resources to take the local currency to the next stage- going digital. Not only have the public had the chance to make a difference supporting the local economy & independent businesses, but in return for their pledges they will receive unique rewards such as a locally designed t-shirts, shopping bags or even the ‘Exeter Pound Mystery Box’. Police continue to investigate Plymouth train crash

Officers from British Transport Police are continuing to investigate following a low-speed collision at Plymouth railway station on Sunday, 3 April which took place shortly after 3.30pm.

A number of people sustained injuries as a result of the collision between two trains, and a total of 15 people were taken to hospital on Sunday for treatment to a range of injuries.

Survey reveals Exeter people depriving themselves of a good nights sleep

On average we spend around 24 years of our lives asleep. With that amount of time spent tucked up in bed you could be forgiven for thinking that choosing a mattress to sleep on could be a tedious and careful selection process.
