Local filmmaker is Seeing Red

Newton Abbot writer/director, Luke Jeffery, 22, has been commissioned to make his film Seeing Red by Exeter Phoenix as part of their Devon Short Film Commission scheme, and is currently auditioning actors and crew.

Set in the 1960s, the surreal comedy is about a straight-laced wedding photographer who is prescribed LSD in a misguided attempt to cure his colour blindness, and will be filmed in and around Exeter and Newton Abbot. The film willpremiere at the Exeter Phoenix’s Two Short Nights film festival on December 12th.
