Judge Jules is one of the most renowned and wealthiest DJ's in the world. His list of accomplishments include a BBC Radio 1 residency, a Number 1 DJ in the world award ( courtesy of DJ Magazine) and over 15 years’ experience of performing at Eden in Ibiza. These are the things we DO know about the 51 year old DJ, but I sat down with the man himself to find out 5 things we DON'T know:

Peace and Goodwill: Faure Requiem in Exeter

Join Exeter Choral Society for our winter concert on the theme of Peace and Goodwill.

The concert is on Wednesday 30 November at St James' Church, Mount Pleasant, Exeter and the programme includes Faure Requiem ; Finzi In terra pax ; Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Christmas Carols.

Vintage Variety Day in Exeter

Vintage enthusiasts are set to flock to Exeter's Bike Shed Theatre for a packed day of activities and entertainment.

The Vintage Variety Day on Sunday, August 16, begins with a flashmob at 1pm in Princesshay, when singers, dancers and musicians, including members of the many Devon ukulele groups, will join cabaret star Tricity Vogue in a singalong of You Are My Sunshine. The gathering will then promenade through the Exeter streets to the Bike Shed Theatre, in time for the opening of the vintage fair at 2pm.

Sing for fun with Forever Young in Exeter

Following a short break, Forever Young Sing for Fun return on Monday 13 April.

We are looking for new singers who would like an alternative to a choir.

Since January 2007, Forever Young have met on most Monday evenings, from 7-9pm, at St Sidwell’s School, York Road, Exeter. In two hours we sing around 30 songs, chosen by singers, from a list of over 600 songs. Join Exeter Choral Society for an Evening of Mozart on Wednesday 3 December, at 7.30 pm, with festive refreshments in the interval.

Exeter Choral Society and Orchestra will be performing Mozart's Great Mass in C minor, Ave Verum Corpus and Exsultate Jubilate under the direction of Laurence Blyth. Featuring soloists Josie Walledge, Heloise West, Andrew Henley and Matthew Cann and orchestra led by Julie Hill.

Alternative pop up dining in city

One of Exeter’s long-standing independent businesses is teaming up with a local start-up to host a pop-up restaurant in Exeter on Saturday 30 August.

The pop-up restaurant, which will include live music and a pop-up bar, has evolved from “a real appetite for an alternative dining experience” explains Josh McDonald-Johnson, a michelin-trained chef and founder of Pickle Shack, the start-up responsible for the pop-up event.
