The foodie heaven celebration that is the Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink returns this May 8th - 10th and after a newly forged partnership with the Exeter Chiefs, discounted early bird tickets are on sale now.

This year promises to be the greenest festival yet, with the banning of single-use plastic, an increase in plant-based exhibitors and a competition to find the greenest exhibitor on-site being run by Coastal Recycling.

An all-star line-up of chefs has been confirmed for this year’s Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink including Tom Kerridge who will join festival co-founder Michael Caines MBE in the cookery theatre on the Sunday.

Seven Michelin-starred chefs are among the line-up this year, including Tom Kerridge, Michael Caines MBE, Simon Hulstone, Paul Ainsworth, Michael Wignall, Mark Dodson and Josh Eggleton, alongside a further 30 talented chefs demonstrating. Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink returns for 13th year

Exeter’s annual food and drink festival continues to go from strength to strength with tickets for the 13th year selling fast.

Returning to Exeter Castle and Northernhay Gardens from 22-24 April, the Festival attracts more than 100 artisan food and drink producers from the region selling delicious south west meat, cheeses, bread, cider, wine, beer, oils, cakes and much more.

Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink took home a Devon Tourism Award for the third year running at last night’s ceremony, held at the Holiday Inn in Plymouth.

The Festival picked up a Bronze award for its 12th event, which took place in April at Exeter Castle and Northernhay Gardens.

John Lewis Exeter volunteers at Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink

As part of its ongoing commitment to working with the local community Partners (staff) from John Lewis Exeter spent the weekend volunteering at this year’s Exeter Festival of South West Food. Working as ‘Festival Ambassadors’ over the three-day event, Partners from the shop fulfilled a variety of roles including site stewards, gate staff and hospitality.

Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink is an annual event held in the courtyard of Exeter Castle and the surrounding Northernhay Gardens, right in the centre of Exeter.
