Sidmouth Musical Theatre Society present : Jesus Christ Superstar
The iconic rock musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar is a timeless work set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.
No performance on Sunday 20th March, Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
The Quay Artists are a group of local artists who are holding an exhibition and sale of art at the Custom House, Exeter Quay on Good Friday 25th March - Sunday 3rd April.
Works for sale are in various mediums including oil, watercolour, pastel and acrylic.
The exhibition is being held in the historic Custom House, located on Exeter's wonderful quayside and a great place for lunch by the River and Canal. The building dates back to 1680 and is itself worth a visit for its wonderful ceiling on the upper floor.

St Sidwell’s Point is the new name for Exeter’s landmark leisure complex and pool, situated in the new St Sidwell’s Quarter.
The name – currently a working title - comes from the adopted Saint of Exeter. Saint Sidwell was martyred in the 8th Century and a water well built where she died at the junction of York Road and Well Street, in front of what is today St Sidwell’s School. People came from miles around to bathe in her waters and water was channelled from the well to parts of Exeter using the Underground Passages

Exeter charity CEDA is celebrating news of a £73,000 government grant with South West creative design agency Toucan.
Toucan, which made CEDA its charity of the year, has teamed up with the staff to provide on-going business support.
Josh Beadon, Toucan’s creative director, said they worked collaboratively to help the dedicated staff spend more of their time working with disabled adults and children and less time caught-up in back-room functions.

Police are appealing for information following a burglary from a garage on Decoy Road on Thursday 10 March between 3am and 5am.
With an estimated value of over £14,600, thieves drilled out locks and cut padlocks to gain entry to the garage. Once inside, they have cut chains to remove the bikes.
