Nearly 600 firearms were handed in to Devon and Cornwall Police during the firearms and ammunition surrender which ran from 13 – 26 November this year.
The campaign, instigated by the National Ballistics Intelligence Service (NABIS), was supported by other forces around the country, including Dorset Police.
Items voluntarily surrendered at police enquiry offices across the force area totalled:

Mihangelf Promotions is a relatively new music promotions enterprise in South Devon putting on live music.
Thus far, there have been five events at the Unit 23 Live venue in Totnes, formerly South Devon Arts Centre, a short hop away on the train or up the A38.

Leading local advice charity, Citizens Advice Exeter, has shared a national Citizens Advice One Service Working Award.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft of a £30,000 tractor from a farm in Bovey Tracey.
The red McCormick tractor [pictured] was taken from the farm yard overnight on Thursday 30 November to Friday 1 December.
Police are appealing for witnesses and asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the area to contact them. It carries the registration number WA10 KWT.
