This June an Exeter venue sees a first full concert by a new group from Okehampton based Wren Music. MenSing is a 20 strong choir of all male voices who have been singing together for just over a year and have already caused a stir with their first few performances.

Cygnet Theatre is performing a playful and accessible production of one of Shakespeare’s late masterpieces: a magical evening of tragedy averted and love redeemed.

Whilst Leontes and Hermione are expecting their second child they entertain Leontes’ childhood friend, Polixenes. At Leontes’ request, Hermione begs Polixenes to extend his stay. Observing her persuasive powers, Leontes’ sees a spark of affection between his wife and his friend.

Folk star drops in!

A unique event for folk music lover and songwriters alike is taking place in Exeter.

A folk star and famous songwriter is taking a night off from the busy touring schedule to drop in on a favourite local venue, unpack the songwriting process a little and share thoughts with an intimate audience.

Steve Knightley, one of the Westcountry’s leading songwriters, will give an illustrated talk about his approach to songwriting using songs reflecting a sense of place in Devon at the Cygnet Theatre, Exeter on Monday 9th May.

Kindly Leave the Stage – UK TOUR 2016 A comedy by John Chapman Directed by Adam Morley

Norwich based Baroque Theatre Company announce their 2016 tour of John Chapman’s farce Kindly Leave the Stage. Back by popular demand, and marking Baroque’s biggest to date, Kindly Leave the Stage will play in an impressive 33 venues across the UK- from Penzance in Cornwall to Carlisle in Cumbria, and many towns and cities in between.
