Young Rugby Ambassadors scheme launched

Today marks two years to go to the final of Rugby World Cup 2015, and to mark the occasion the Young Rugby Ambassador programme kicked off in Exeter, one of the Host Cities.

The RFU has unveiled plans to develop more young volunteers in rugby clubs across the country through its ‘Young Rugby Ambassadors’ programme.

Rugby clubs are being asked to nominate sixteen to twenty year olds to become Young Rugby Ambassadors, whose role will be to excite and inspire other young people in the build-up to the Rugby World Cup 2015 (RWC 2015) and beyond.

Adam Hills to bring Happyism to Exeter Corn Exchange

Adam Hills, host of TV’s The Last Leg is bringing his much awaited new tour, Happyism, to Exeter Corn Exchange.

Fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adam is ready to embark on his 35 date tour of the UK and Ireland in September and visits the Corn Exchange on Tuesday 19 November.

Exeter's Right Honourable Lord Mayor Councillor Rachel Lyons attended a dazzling display of talent by Stage by Stage students on Sunday 14 July at Exeter Corn Exchange.

Stage by Stage is Exeter's independent theatre arts school, and the Mayor was there to present certificates and special prizes to its students.

The gala, which is an annual event, this year also celebrated the 20th anniversary of Stage by Stage and featured musical and dance numbers drawn from the last two decades of shows which have been performed by the school in the city and around the UK....
