Exeter Corn Exchange hosts another Bollywood and Bhangra Extravaganza

Exeter Corn Exchange is to host another of its very successful Bhangra Extravaganzas on Friday 8 November, this time with the added bonus of a slice of Bollywood as the Bollywood Brass Band feature in a celebration of 100 years of Bollywood cinema.

The event organised by the Corn Exchange in association with the Asian Arts Agency & Exeter Friends of Gujarat kicks off with an authentic Gugarati Special Thali meal before the entertainment begins with the famous Bollywood Brass Band performing some of the world’s greatest pop songs played in new arrangements and accompanied by video projections of dance sequences from the original Bollywood films.

Justly famous for their fabulous good-time live appearances, Bollywood Brass Band are seriously good.  Exuberantly splicing Bollywood hits with furious Indian wedding song, this uproarious band storm through their numbers with a magnificently hot six-piece brass section.
