People are being reminded that they can have their say on plans for a new bus station in Exeter at an open forum today Thursday (3 March).

Exeter City Council will be holding the event at the Corn Exchange in Exeter between 8am and 5.30pm.

The Council want to hear from members of the public and interested groups to inform the concept design of the new bus station. The Council want to hear people's views on:

• user facilities • coach arrangements • on street bus stops • arrangements during construction

Review set for Corn Exchange block and South Street

A review is set to be carried out on the future of Exeter’s South Street and the Corn Exchange block in the heart of the city centre.

Members of Exeter City Council’s Scrutiny Economy Committee will be asked to back plans to carry out a review of the area to assess what, if anything, needs to be done to the location in the future.

Cllr Rosie Denham, Lead Councillor for Economy and Culture, stressed that the City Council was open minded moving forward but accepted that improvements could be made to the area in light of the changing dynamic of the city centre.
