InExeter offers £8,000 funding pot to support community events 

Applications are now open for funding from Exeter’s business improvement district, InExeter, with £8,000 being allocated for the year commencing 1 April 2019.

The funding round is open to community event and project groups, with a maximum allocation of £3,000 for each individual event or activity.

InExeter hopes to support community events and projects which bring people into the city and add to the cultural, music, arts or health and wellbeing scene.

Big Screen in the Park returns to Exeter

Big Screen in the Park returns to Exeter this summer with not five, but six nights of cinematic magic under the stars.

A different film will be showing on each of the six nights in Northernhay Gardens, from 9-14 August.

With Mexican street food, local ale and ciders and delicious coffees from the BikeCaffe, grab your friends and celebrate the biggest Exeter Big Screen in The Park ever.

Gates open at 7.30pm with films starting at 9pm daily.

Tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the gate. It costs an additional £1 to bring your own chair chair.

Big films al fresco in Northernhay Gardens

Big Screen in the Park returns to Exeter’s Northernhay Gardens tonight (13 August) for four nights of fabulous films under the stars.

A different film will be shown each of the four nights on a 10m wide screen.

Along with the entertainment there are also several places to purchase food and drinks. The Little Devon Pizza Co will be serving up wood fired pizzas, Bar Belafronte will be offering specially selected craft beers and there you'll also find home-made butter fudge popcorn on sale.
