Boxing is thought to have been around in Britain since 1681, with regular boxing matches being held in London’s Royal Theatre in 1698. 307 Squadron Project invites you to Exeter’s Guildhall for the special event For Your Freedom & Ours.
It will take place on 15 November 2021, to remember the Polish 307 Squadron.
The 307 night-fighter squadron was part of the RAF, who defended the South West of England during WW2.
It prevented Exeter from being totally destroyed during the blitz on the city in 1942.This year also marks the 80th anniversary of the Polish squadron arriving in Exeter.
