Exeter Northcott Theatre is delighted to be teaming up with the University of Exeter Drama Department and Arts & Culture team to present RAW: Emerging Arts Platform.
In a new initiative from the two organisations, RAW is a platform for emerging choreographers, live artists and playwrights. It is an opportunity for Exeter Drama graduates to show exciting new work to a range of audiences, professional artists, programmers and organisation representatives; a place to share knowledge, skills and ideas.
Tuesday, 11th June will showcase two works of new writing.

Tracy 'TJ' Higgs has been working in the media for over five years now, working on various television shows and other forms of media. She has described herself as 'a thoroughly modern medium' and also the most accurate female medium both in the UK and abroad.
Tracy was a psychic expert on ITV3's 'The Xtra Factor' where she correctly predicted the final four contestants in correct order.
The guys from Persian Rabbit like to call themselves a ‘modern, dark, hippy quintet’, a designation which is indeed quite accurate. Diving into the deep and twisted waters of their intimate world, this Lille-based band creates breathtaking post rock, right in between Godspeed You’s experimentation and Shannon Wright’s delicate folk rock.
Thanks to their presence and original line-up (harmonium, double bass, acoustic and electric drums and guitar), their music works like a charm on stage.

The Story of Thomas Clarkson's part in the campaign to end the story of the slave trade
If the nineteenth century abolished slavery why are more than 20 million people enslaved today? To our shame the work of Clarkson and Wilberforce remains unfinished: human trafficking and indentured labour proliferate everywhere. Does our lifestyle make us unwittingly complicit in this?
As we reflect on the courage and tenacity of Thomas Clarkson we ask: Could two ageing grumpies sort the outrage of modern day slavery?
Ticket Price: £6 (pay what you can on door – minimum £2)...
