Local wealth and investment Management Company Brewin Dolphin Exeter arranged a special coaching session by Exeter Chiefs' Craig Mitchell (‘Mitch’) with Exeter Saracens Rugby Football Club, one of Exeter’s longest-established clubs, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

Rugby comes to the races at Exeter Racecourse next Tuesday (April 30) with its first evening meeting of the season staged in conjunction with the Exeter Chiefs.

The Chiefs’ long serving hooker, Neil Clark, has made over 150 appearances for the club and he’s been honoured with a testimonial year.

Police advice following serious motorcycle collisions

Following three serious motorcycle collisions in the south Devon area, police are appealing for road users to be more vigilant. The three separate incidents all happened on Friday 19 April leaving the riders of the machines with serious injuries. Police are hunting for a masked offender who threatened two shop assistants with a knife during an attempted robbery in Teignmouth. The man struck at Tesco in Bitton Park Road around 11.50pm on Sunday (21 April) as staff members were closing the store.
