Tony Rowe opens new Sports Pitch at Bicton College

The Exeter Chiefs Rugby Academy is approaching the end of its second year at Bicton and proving to be an extremely successful partnership. With a growing sporting reputation, and a high demand for places, Bicton is developing its sports facilities and increasing the range of courses on offer. This September students will be able to take their studies to the next level as the College starts a new HNC and HND in Sport (Coaching and Sports Development), alongside the other sports and outdoor adventure courses already running.

Tony Rowe, Chairman and CEO of the Exeter Chiefs, recently opened the College’s new (3G) Rubber Crumb Sports Pitch. The pitch has been constructed using the latest Third Generation (3G) technology approved by both the FA and the RFU, and will provide an all-weather training and events venue for the Bicton students.
