Across the UK, 125 of the 376 local authorities studied were shown to have a rent which was unaffordable on a £22,000 net income. For family with an income of £19,000, nearly half of the studied areas were unaffordable.

Everyone wants to get in on the graduation festivities at Exeter– even the animals! The University of Exeter’s resident gorilla, currently based in the Forum, is the result of a competition in which students were set the task of designing their very own Great Gorilla.

Meriel, a third year English undergraduate, was inspired by the idea of the Gorilla making stops around the world and collecting stamps of other endangered animals, before finally arriving in Devon...

The final episode of The Apprentice aired tonight on BBC1 at 8.00pm and saw Lord Sugar taking on Dr Leah Totton as a business partner with a personal investment of £250,000.
