IKEA Exeter reopens free in-store creche, Småland

IKEA Exeter has announced the reopening of its free in-store creche area, Småland, from Friday 7th April. It comes following the closure of the service in March 2020 due to the pandemic.

Rolling out the blue and yellow carpet, parents and guardians with children aged 3-10¹ can use the free service for 45 minutes when visiting the IKEA store. Taylor Wimpey has proudly assisted Cranbrook Running Club with its support towards Force Cancer Charity. The running club organised a charity raffle event in Cranbrook, which Taylor Wimpey proudly supported with a £250 donation, allowing the club to purchase further items to raise more funds to then hand over to the charity.

A fascinating 3D sculpture has been installed at the University of Exeter’s Living Systems Institute, helping to raise awareness of its research on microsporidia.

Microsporidia are important pathogens infecting a diversity of animals including humans, honeybees, and farmed fish and shrimp, causing disease and, in some cases, death. Microsporidia parasites are found as dormant spores in the environment, which when eaten by a host “germinate”.
