Everys Solicitors get Grizzly with sponsorship deal

Everys Solicitors have agreed to be one of the principal sponsors of 2014’s The Grizzly.

This annual race covers around 20 miles of muddy, hilly and boggy varied terrain including the beaches and East Devon countryside surrounding Seaton.

Its heath and cliff stretches have led the organisers, the Axe Valley Runners, to bill next year’s race as Withering Heights. It will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2014

Firefighters strike from 6pm today

Firefighters in England and Wales will strike for the fifth and sixth times this weekend, between 6pm and 10pm on both Friday 13 and Saturday 14 December.

Members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) have said that they will continue to strike until an agreement is met. £7m investment in Exeter guildhall revealed.

Plans have been revealed on a new £7 million investment to Exeter’s Guildhall Shopping Centre.

The plans mark the first large investment in the centre since it was first built in 1972 and will modernise business premises in the centre.

An Exeter-based deaf interpreter agency has expressed shock at the unidentified man, who was broadcast standing alongside world leaders including US President Barack Obama, making up his own signs during Nelson Mandela’s memorial service.
