Exeter based Absolute PR and Marketing rounded off a year of growth after securing a string of new account wins including a major national property developer and an award-winning Westcountry food producer and supplier.

In addition to its recent appointment as the communications consultancy for South West Lakes Trust, Absolute has now landed five new national and regional clients across the food and drink, tourism and leisure, engineering and property sectors.

Multi award-winning retirement property developer Urban Renaissance Villages has awarded the agency its national corporate PR brief as well as the PR, marketing and event organisation brief for its Maudslay Park Village near Stratford Upon Avon following Absolute’s success so far executing the PR strategy for its Exeter retirement development, Millbrook Village.

Further expanding its portfolio within the property sector, Absolute has also been appointed by Plymouth-based land promotion and planning company Senate Properties to handle the PR and stakeholder communications for its proposed commercial development at Plymbridge Road in Plymouth.

Absolute has also enhanced its tourism and leisure credentials in recent months with a major regional and national PR campaign to launch the new 95 mile-long circular cycling route around Dartmoor, The Dartmoor Way.   The agency is also expanding its roster of food and drink clients by sinking its teeth into a national PR brief for Westcountry organic meat farmers The Well Hung Meat Company.

Although of a very different sector, the team has also started work on marketing materials to promote new innovative software developed by engineering systems company Enfilade Systems Ltd.

Account director at Absolute, Rachael Whitson said: “It will be full steam ahead into the New Year following what has been a very successful final quarter in 2013. We are delighted to have been selected to represent such a diverse range of important regional and national organisations. Absolute has a strong track record across these sectors and has been able to draw upon the diversity of our experience to secure some major account wins.

“As a result of our growing client portfolio we are also currently looking to expand our team over the coming months.”
