Acclaimed composer/band leader Mike Westbrook leads his 18-piece big band featuring vocalist Kate Westbrook and a galaxy of soloists, in an evening of Jazz Classics, Christmas songs, Originals, Ballads and Blues.
Formed in 2003, the band has supported the likes of Alabama 3 and Wishbone Ash. They recorded their EP at the Levellers studio in Brighton and went on tour to promote it, which all sold out during the tour.
In August 2004 the band signed a promotion and distribution deal and released their debut album ‘Beneath Shadows’ in January 2005.
They have released 2 download singles from this album which have been played on radio stations around the world, recently enjoying a long stay on ISON Live in Australia.
