The landslip that closed the A377 Cowley Road running between Exeter and Credition on Friday afternoon has now been completely cleared and the road is fully open.

The road had been closed to ensure the safe removal of 400 tonnes of slippage material from the site which involved the use of heavy excavation and haulage plant.

The road closure had prevented bus services from serving stops between Cowley Bridge and Crediton, affecting the 50, 51, 315 and 377 stagecoach bus services. Everything is now back to normal.
