Network Rail will lay more concrete foundations in Dawlish today after additional damage to the sea wall caused by Friday' nights storm could delay the track’s restoration by up to two weeks. The track, initially damaged by storms at the beginning of February, was originally expected to be completed by mid-march. However this Friday saw the temporary flood defences, made of shipping containers filled with concrete, overwhelmed by the rising water. Karley Khan, 25, from Plymouth has taken up the challenge of skydiving from 15,000ft dressed as a monkey to raise money for local charity Wild Futures.
Karley, along with her fellow jumpers, is hoping to raise £395 by 1 March so Wild Futures can continue to rescue and protect primates and their habitats worldwide.

A 34 year old man has been charged with GBH and criminal damage after attacking an elderly woman at Exeter Cathedral green on Saturday (15th February).
Police recieved reports that an eldery woman had been punched in the eye and was lying on the floor at 1.20pm on Saturday afternoon. The incident of assault was believed to have occured when the elderly woman questioned the man after he was seen climbing the outside of the Cathedral.
The man was arrested just minutes later and has been charged with GBH and criminal damage after being remanded in custody.
