In this entertaining show, Tony Hawks combines storytelling, stand up, musical comedy and film clips to create two hours of fun. Amongst other things Tony will recount the amusing and sometimes fraught story of how he went from being ‘Comedian and author’ to ‘Comedian, author and film-maker’. His hilarious tales of how he became an independent film maker - producing both Round Ireland With A Fridge and Playing The Moldovans At Tennis - will be peppered with the wry observations that have made him such a hit on Radio 4’s Just A Minute and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue.

It asks how we can talk more honestly about ageing, drawing together true personal accounts and shameless speculation in a celebration of life and an attempt to fall in love with our own decline.

Richard Alston is "a choreographer for whom every dance is a love affair with his chosen music" THE TIMES. This programme matches the shimmering beauty of Ravel with smouldering tango and the exhilaration of Benjamin Britten.
SHIMMER is danced to the sun-drenched music of Ravel played live. Julien Macdonald's fabulous, jewel-encrusted cobweb costumes illuminate dazzling streaks of limpid choreography in a ravishingly beautiful piece of theatre.
