Zumba Funds Boost for Headway!

On Saturday 29 March, generous local people shimmied, skipped and shook their way to raising £193 at a Zumbathon for Headway Devon, the local brain injury charity.

The event took place at the Riverside Leisure Centre in Exeter and was instructed by Johanna Morgan, founder of Sidmouth’s JM DanceFit. Attendees of all ages and abilities kicked their weekend into shape together and enjoyed sixty minutes of fun-loving Zumba, making every move count to raise valuable funds for this deserving local cause.

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter says he is looking to unleash the “huge potential” on offer in new signing Tomas Francis.

A new report on bees in South West England by nature conservation charity Buglife reveals that up to 75% of some of our most threatened bee species have been lost in some counties. The study researched 23 species considered to be at risk in the UK, twenty are declining whilst three have become extinct.
