Stephen Sutton a 19-year-old who raised more than £3.2m for charity has died peacefully in his sleep, his mother said on his Facebook page.
The teenager from Burntwood in Staffordshire, was diagnosed with terminal cancer aged 15 but resolved to overcome his illnesss to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust .
In the months leading to his death Stephen's fundraising efforts acheived world wide recognition through social media.
In a post announcing Stephen's death his mother, Jane Sutton, said he was a "courageous, selfless, inspirational son".

An Exeter man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a a coach hit a wall in Cornwall killing two female passengers. Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 1pm on Tuesday (13 May).
