A la Ronde's Christmas Tree Festival is open each weekend from Sunday 30 November until Sunday 14 December.
Over 20 local community groups are decorating their own trees, including the British Legion poppy tree and driftwood creations as well as traditional trees. The event is something for all the family to enjoy with a festive trail, storytelling, live musical entertainment from the La La Choir and River City Chorus and hot drinks. There will also be seasonal crafts for which there will be a small charge of £1.50 per child.

Exeter City pulled off a memorable comeback as they overturned Shrewsbury Town’s 2-0 first-half lead – Tom Nichols’ dramatic winner came in second-half injury time to secure a 3-2 victory.

An investigation has been launched after technical issues affected non-emergency police and NHS phone lines for a number of hours today.
Police forces across the UK, in including Devon & Cornwall Police, reported problems with 101 between 9am and 1pm today. The 111 NHS number also went down, as well as some other services including RAC Breakdown recovery.
Vodafone, which operates both numbers, apologised and is investigating.
