Rolle Exmouth Limited (REL) and Exmouth Town Council have secured permission from Plymouth University for the Four of Swords theatre company to put on a production of Jason and the Argonauts in the Owen Building at The Rolle Centre as part of the Exmouth Festival.

There will be 18 matinee and evening performances between 25th May and 6th June. The production will be promenade theatre leading audiences through the building so ticket numbers will be limited. The performances will be in the Owen Building.

Police are appealing for information after a bridle was taken from a traveller’s horse in Exeter on Friday 20 March.

The well-known traveller John Treagood was parked with his horse and caravan on the Alphington roundabout, underneath the A30, when he was approached by a man driving a white or cream vehicle.

Devon Wildlife Trust has expressed ‘delight and relief’ at the re-release of five healthy beavers on to a Devon river.

The news comes after the animals were temporarily removed from the wild in February for testing for disease.
