UK’s leading EV rapid charging network opens hub in Kennford

InstaVolt, the UK’s largest and most reliable public EV (Electric vehicle) rapid charging network, has opened a new hub in Kennford.

Eight rapid charging stations are located at the Gissons Hotel, Kennford which offers a range of food and drinks, for EV drivers to relax while charging. These latest additions bring the first InstaVolt EV charging hub in the Kennford area.

With plans to install 10,000 rapid chargers by 2030, InstaVolt currently has more than 1,200 chargers across the country and is installing at a faster rate than any other charge point operator.

Plymouth Science Park has been awarded £507,000 for a new digital engineering test facility, to complement their Advanced Digital Manufacturing Innovation Centre . Mark Evans and Ian McGuire will be getting on their bikes to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats in support of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. At the end of each day and each stage of the route the duo alongside challenge support driver and band member Guy plan to perform a gig in a local venue - you can catch them at The Angel Bar in Queen Street, Exeter on Tuesday 10th October.
