Exeter Round Table’s annual firework extravaganza returns for its 40th anniversary, in support of Devon Air Ambulance.

This year, the spectacular pyrotechnical display will be synchronised to the music from the Greatest Showman when it returns to Westpoint Arena on Saturday 4th November.

The display, hosted by Radio Exe, will feature fireworks set to the popular musical by Sonic Fireworks, the 2022 British Champions! Not only that, but the spectacle also promises fun for the whole family with funfair rides, various catering outlets, and licensed bars.

It’s Beginning To Look Like Topsham’s Best for Christmas!

Love Topsham has unveiled plans for the town’s Christmas celebrations - and once again they’re set to be amongst the best in the south west.

Festivities start on November 24 with the Christmas Lights Switch On at the town’s Matthews Hall. From 4.30pm there will be a samba band in illuminated festive outfits plus unique large-scale puppetry to entertain crowds.

Residents have been thanked for turning out to two community engagement sessions to share their knowledge about last month’s flash floods.

More than 100 people attended last week’s drop-in events at Kenton and Topsham, which were among the hardest hit communities during the flooding on Sunday 17 September.

Exeter netball team shoot and score in funding bid

Team Isca Netball Club have secured a £1,000 donation from local housebuilders.

Persimmon Homes South West presented a cheque to the team at their regular venue, Exeter University Sports Park, earlier this month after the club applied to the developer’s Community Champions scheme.

An Exeter care home has been rated ‘excellent’ following an audit by a national care organisation with a focus on relationship-centred cultures of care.

A University of Exeter apprentice is celebrating after winning at the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards .

Mamadou Kone, who was one of six shortlisted apprentices studying at University of Exeter, won in the Transport and Logistics category.at an awards ceremony in Birmingham last week.
